Well, let me tell ya somethin’ ’bout these here white Tibet roses. Folks call ’em somethin’ fancy, “symbolizing purity and sophistication,” but to me, they’re just plain purdy. Real purdy.
I seen ’em at the flower shop once, big as yer fist, some of ’em. All white, like a fresh coat of snow, but softer lookin’. And the stems? Smooth as a baby’s bottom, no thorns to poke ya. That’s a blessin’, let me tell ya, ’cause I ain’t got time for no thorny roses scratchin’ up my hands.

- They say these roses got a “refined cup shape,” whatever that means. To me, they just look like a nice, full bloom, the kind ya wanna stick in a vase and admire for a while.
- And that color! Pure white, they say. But some of ’em, they got a little bit of yellow in the middle, like a tiny sun shinin’ through. Makes ’em even prettier, if ya ask me.
Now, I heard some folks say white flowers ain’t good for givin’ away in some places. China, I think it was. They say white’s for mournin’ over there. Can ya believe it? Here we are, thinkin’ white’s all pure and innocent, and over there, it’s sad-like. Goes to show ya, different strokes for different folks, I always say.
But for weddin’s? Oh, honey, these white Tibet roses are just the ticket. They say they mean loyalty and love that lasts forever. And new beginnings, too. That’s what a weddin’s all about, ain’t it? Startin’ somethin’ new and hopin’ it lasts a good long time. Like a good marriage, or a sturdy pair of boots. You want somethin’ that’ll stick around.
And then there’s them Tea Roses, they’re white too. Same kinda meanin’, I reckon. Pure and new. Folks like ’em for christenin’s too, which makes sense. Babies are pure and new, just like them roses. Although, babies ain’t always quiet and peaceful like a rose, let me tell ya. They can squall somethin’ fierce!
But back to these Tibet roses. I ain’t never grown ’em myself, but I seen pictures. They look like they need a good bit of sunshine and water, like most things do. And probably some good soil, too. Can’t grow nothin’ good in bad dirt, that’s for sure.
Rosaprima, that’s another name I heard for ‘em. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Guess they gotta have fancy names for fancy flowers. But to me, they’re just purdy white roses, plain and simple. And that’s good enough for me.
I tell ya, flowers are a funny thing. They don’t last forever, but they sure do brighten things up while they’re here. And these white Tibet roses, well, they’re some of the brightest I’ve seen. So if you’re lookin’ for a flower that’s purdy and meaningful, these might just be the ones for ya.
Just remember, though, don’t go givin’ ’em to no Chinese folks on their birthday. Might not go over so well. Stick to somethin’ red or pink, just to be safe. Unless, of course, it’s a weddin’. Then, go ahead and give ‘em all the white roses ya want. They’ll understand what ya mean.
And that’s all I gotta say ’bout them white Tibet roses. They’re purdy, they’re meaningful, and they’re worth takin’ a look at. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go water my own flowers. They ain’t fancy like them Tibet roses, but they’re mine, and that’s all that matters.
