Okay, here is my sharing about the “flower kitchen tiles” project:
So, I’ve been wanting to redo my kitchen for like, forever. It was so drab and boring, I hated spending any time in there. I saw some amazing kitchens on Pinterest using these flower tiles, and I just knew I had to have them. I’m not gonna lie, I got totally obsessed.

First, I spent hours, and I mean HOURS, looking at different flower tile designs online. There are just so many options! Big flowers, small flowers, colorful flowers, you name it. I finally decided on these cute little tiles with a simple, but still elegant, daisy pattern. I thought they were kind of classic and wouldn’t go out of style too quickly.
Next, I had to figure out where to buy these tiles. I checked out some local stores, but they didn’t really have what I was looking for. So, I went back online and found a place that had a decent enough selection and pretty good prices. But it is still not the daisy pattern. Luckily, I found another place that can customize my daisy pattern. So I placed the order and waited (not so) patiently for them to arrive.
- Choosing the tiles: Took forever, but I found the perfect daisy pattern.
- Buying the tiles: The local store is a failure, so I searched online. Finally I found the right place.
- Prepping the kitchen: What a mess! But it had to be done.
- Installing the tiles: The hardest part, but so worth it.
- Admiring my new kitchen: I’m totally in love!
Once the tiles got here, the real work began. I had to get the kitchen ready, which meant taking down the old backsplash and cleaning everything up. My husband helped me with this part, thank goodness, because it was a bigger job than I expected. We made a total mess, but it was kind of fun, in a weird way.
The Hard Part
Now, for the hard part – actually putting up the tiles. I’m not gonna lie, this was a bit of a nightmare. We watched a bunch of videos online, but it’s definitely harder than it looks. It took us two whole days to get it done, and there were a few tiles that didn’t quite line up perfectly. But, you know what? It was totally worth it.
My kitchen looks AMAZING now! It’s so bright and cheerful, and I actually enjoy spending time in there. It is stylish yet functional, bold yet refined, just as I dreamed. Those flower tiles make me smile every time I see them. It’s like having a little bit of springtime in my kitchen all year round. If you’re thinking about redoing your kitchen, I highly recommend checking out flower tiles. They really can transform the whole space.
