They’re real good at findin’ the bugs and takin’ care of ‘em for ya.
3. Make A Tansy Tea
If you want somethin’ a little stronger, you can try makin’ a tea from tansy leaves. All you gotta do is take a few leaves off the tansy plant, throw ‘em in a pot with four cups of hot water, and let it steep for a little while. Once it cools off, put it in a spray bottle and spray it right on the leaves of your potato plants. That’ll keep them bugs away. It’s an old remedy, but it works real good.
4. Vinegar Spray
Another thing you can do is use vinegar. I know, I know, it sounds a bit strange, but vinegar’s real good at killin’ pests. You just mix some vinegar with a little water, and spray it right on those bugs when you see ‘em. The acidity of the vinegar will do the trick, and it won’t hurt your plants if you don’t overdo it.
