So, I was planning a birthday surprise for my best friend, and because it’s an August birthday, I thought, why not dive into the whole birth flower thing? I mean, who doesn’t love flowers, right?
Start The Research

So, my next mission was clear. Find these flowers. I went to a few local flower shops, asked around, and finally, I found a place that had both gladiolus and poppies. They came in all sorts of colors, too, like a whole rainbow. I grabbed a bunch of each, making sure to get a good mix of colors. I felt like a kid in a candy store, picking out all these different shades.
Arrange Them
Back home, it was time to get crafty. I got out some vases and started arranging the flowers. I’m no florist, but I did my best to make them look pretty together. The gladiolus are tall and majestic, and the poppies are all delicate and vibrant. Together, they looked amazing, if I do say so myself.
