Well now, if ya ask me what trees can be planted in the summer, I’ll tell ya, there’s a few kinds that do real well, even when the sun’s burnin’ down and the ground’s as dry as a bone. You don’t wanna go plantin’ just anything in this heat, no ma’am. You need tough trees that can handle the scorchin’ days and still grow strong. So let me tell ya ‘bout a few that I know work real good when the summer comes around.

Moringa tree is one of ‘em. That tree right there’s a real survivor. Some folks call it the “drumstick tree,” and let me tell ya, it grows fast and don’t mind the heat one bit. Its leaves are full of good stuff, too, folks say it’s healthy and all. You can plant it in the summer, and with enough water, it’ll grow up quick-like. And it don’t need much to thrive, just a bit of sun and good soil. You’ll be seein’ that tree grow in no time, like it was meant for hot weather.

Mulberry tree is another one that does well in the summer. Them trees can take the heat and they bear fruit, too! I tell ya, mulberries are sweet, and they’re great for makin’ jams and pies. The tree grows up tall and spreads out wide, so it gives ya plenty of shade when it’s burnin’ hot outside. Just make sure you water it good, ‘specially when it’s young, ‘cause it’ll need it before it gets real established. But once it does, that tree’ll be fine, no matter how hot it gets.

Then we got Poinciana tree. Now this one’s a little fancy, but it sure does well in the summer. Them bright red flowers come out, and they’ll brighten up your yard something fierce. It’s a bit of an exotic tree, but the heat don’t bother it none. In fact, it thrives in places where it gets plenty of sun and not too much rain. Just be careful, though, it needs a lot of space to grow—don’t go plantin’ it too close to the house or your other plants, ‘cause it’ll spread out big-time.

And if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ a little more hardy, Acacia trees are another good choice. Now, I’ll be honest, they ain’t native to every place, but they sure do well in the heat. Acacias don’t need a lot of water, and they don’t mind dry soil much. They’re a little on the prickly side, but if you’re lookin’ for a tough tree that can handle a hot summer, this one’s a good pick. Just make sure you don’t plant it in a place where you need to walk around too much, ‘cause them thorns can get ya.

Now, you might be thinkin’, “Well, I don’t have a lotta space, what can I do?” Well, don’t worry, there’s options for folks like you too! You can get container-grown trees—the kind you see at your local garden center. Them trees can be planted in pots or small spaces, and they still do well in the summer heat. You just gotta make sure you water ‘em real good, ‘cause the heat can dry out the soil faster than you can blink. But with a little care, them container trees will be happy as can be sittin’ on your porch or by the window.

So there you have it, some good trees to plant in the summer. Moringa, mulberry, poinciana, acacia, and even some in containers—all of ‘em can handle the heat. Just remember, the secret is to pick trees that can take the sun, the dryness, and still keep growin’ strong. And don’t forget to water ‘em proper, ‘specially when they’re young. With the right trees, you’ll have a garden full of shade and maybe even some fruit or flowers to enjoy when the summer’s at its hottest.
